Can you put cheato in with bio balls?

Chaeto should be fully submerged and have a light over it.

how much LR do you have? if you have plenty then I suggest removing the bio balls all together slowly.

Fill the bio balls area with live rock instead of the balls, this is a new build so have not installed it yet.

as long as the LR is completly submerged in water that would be a good idea.
