New Cherub Angel - when to worry?
I got the cherub I'd been asking about today, and after ~1 hour of slow drip acclimation to my quarantine tank, which included TWO jumps out of the container...psycho.
I put him in the QT (a 10g, he's barely an inch long) about two hours ago, and he hasn't ventured more than a few inches from the back corner of the tank. I know it's only been a couple of hours, but when should I start to worry that he's sick? The room is dark except for light He was healthy and eating at the store, and a lot more active. For those that have had experience with these guys, is this pretty typical? This is only the second time I've purchased new fish, so I get nervous very easily...:

fear can kill fish. What would make him comfortable? So as to survive?
That is your answer.

I have no idea...the room is dark, the sides and back of the tank are covered in black paper, I've got three 2" PVC fittings in there for him to hide in, eggcrate over the top...short of filling it with liverock I'm not sure what else I can do for him.
Any ideas?

It's common for fish to take as much as a day or two before they start acting normal in a new tank. If it's dark, your fish is probably just sleeping/resting.
My advice...be patient...relax. Mariner

Is there something rock/PVC in the QT for him to hide in?

Yes, two 2" 45 elbows and a 2" T. Perhaps not enough/not arranged properly? I've just got them laying on the bottom of the tank, figuring he would like hiding places all over the tank as opposed to having them all piled up near each other.

That sounds good enough. Don't worry about the arrangement, just keep your hands out of there! His behavior sounds perfectly normal so far...

Yeah, I don't plan on messing with anything unless I have to.
The tank has basically no bio-filtration, so I'm going to have to keep up with water changes, but other than that I'm not going to be prodding at him. I would think that 10% water changes daily coupled with running carbon through the HOB filter should be enough to keep a healthy environment, right? Edit: He's still hanging out in the corner this morning, but it's still pretty dark in the room so he's probably still resting. Also, when would you recommend I try feeding him? For some reason I think it would be a good idea to hold off on feeding until he's been with me for a full 24 hours...input?
