LED Lighting
I stareted my tank with PC lighting. I really want to upgrade so I can start adding LPS and SPS to my tank. I do not want to deal with the heat from the Halides. Has anyone tried the new LED lights? I have read they do not give off a lot of heat and they last for a very long time. They are supposed to be efficient and effective in lighting the tank? Do they only come in the whites or do they also come in the blue Actinics? Are they are good choice?

I have the Solaris I-4 48" (last model) and I am very satisfied with its features. It has 4 different colors which can be adjust from 0 to 100%, individualy. My tank is new so I use the day white 50%, the day blue 50%, the lunar white 0% and the lunar blue 10%. I don't use a chiller, only 3 fans that work rarely. Its looking great and I hope that it will give good results when I have the corals. Moshe ISRAEL
