rocks leaning against the back glass

i'm dealnig with a 46g bowfront, which means i have somewhat limited floorspace. the way i have my rockwork layed out is that it leans on the back glass. is this a problem?

The problems that you will run into is a detritus build up behind the rocks do to a lack of flow, and it will make it hard to clean the algae off of the back glass when needed.

If you have water moving through there you can get away with it. Detritus will settle wherever the flow is low. You can use a turkey baster to periodically clean back there.

as log as your getting flow back there its not a problem. i have alot of rock against my back wall, but i have my return pointed down behind it. of course i couldnt help it since i have 170lbs of very porus rock in my 90g display.

Note: My power heads where always getting clogged with stuff in the water. So I put a mj400 with a sure flow kit behind my rocks. Now it goes along time before I need to clean it.
