Iwaki MD30RLXT
I am considering this pump in an upgrade...the flow will be divided between two display tanks.
I gather they are well regarded and function well...I just havent been able to gather much on their noise level. I will be installing it in a stand in my living room. Currently have I have a mag 7 and I can hear it...but can live with its noise level. What can I expect from the Iwaki as far as noise...assuming of course its properly insulated/mounted etc? Thanks in advance for your time and attention! |

I have ran the WMD30 version for 12 years. Excelllent pump. No noise. I think you would make a great choise going with Iwaki.

Thanks Scott!
I am also looking at the Blueline 30 HD-X. I gather they are pretty much the same pump (same designer). Aside from the more complicated plumbing...this is going to save so much precious space in my sump its infinetly worth it to go external. |
