Stray electrical current and chillers
Do all chillers give off stray electrical current and throw off electrical pH probes? Or do I have a bad lemon?
I have the current prime 1/10, and when plugged in (doesn't have to be running, just water going through it and it plugged in) it makes my pH probe give readings 2pts higher than if I unplug it. anybody else have something like this happen? any way to fix it? thankx

all electrical appliances leak minute amounts of current, its normally very very small amounts, minute amounts, however the chiller you have may leak slightly more, and the probe may be being affected by it, just a guess but it is indeed possible, this doesnt mean theres a problem with the chiller, this combined with all the other electrical equipment you have may be causing it, might have to keep moving the probe about until you find a spot where it is not affected
