need some algae ID please - pics included I hope
Here are some pictures of I think 2 different things. I thought I used to copy and paste pictures here, but that isn't working. I hope these links work.
One. Not sure what kind of algae this is. Doesn't look like any bubble algae I have seen pictures of, but it does have bubble like pieces on a branch. This next one is different, but not sure what it is either

looks like red bubble algea. ive ran into it ina couple of tanks. It seems to spread even faster than the green.
Its real nasty stuff. take it out and scrub it clean or throw a hungry urchin in there. I would do it soon too as ive seen this algea take over tanks completely.

I am surprised. Didn't look like bubble algae to me as I have seen in pictures - here on RC in the algae slide show. I have had it for quite awhile now doesn't seem to spread nearly as much as the GHA or caulpera that I also have.
Are you sure that is what it is? Both, or just the first ones?

I have some of that in my nano, and it doesn't seem to be nearly as bad as the Valonia (green bubble algae). Of course, that may be because it blends in with the rock better and I don't notice it quite as much. I mostly leave mine alone, and it really hasn't spread, but it's probably best to remove it while/if you can.
