Good iexpensive Sand
Can anyone tell me a good alternative to live sand? I have a 180 gallow and was told that I could buy 2 bags of the CariSea and the rest could be mixed in. I've been searching for Yardright and OldCastle for weeks now with no luck and spending $200+ is out of the question. Any ideas?

southdown, yardrite, and oldcastle is not made anymore or I should say distributed anymore. you may get lucky and find some from a place that hasn't sold all of their supply yet. highly doubtful though.
your best bet if you can't afford the 1.00 per lb sand would be to get some silica sand. white playsand. |
