Larger Fish
Starting a 125 saltwater tank and I was looking for suggestions on bigger fish that would look nice in it? Any Ideas?

What else are you planning to keep? Will it be a fish-only tank, or will you be adding corals, clams, invertebrates, etc.?

It will be a fish only tank. thin bed of sand (2") and a couple of piles of live rock for the fish to swim around. I would like some bigger fish that will have a nice color with 50/50 bulbs.

Is this a fish-only (with liverock) tank? If so some nice fish is a harlequin tusk, lionfish, emperor angel or majestic angel, butterfly's, groupers, triggerfish, and puffers

Im going towards more hardier species. I usually don't have luck (or money) to keep large angels or butterflys. I know I want a porcupine puffer. I was thinking about a unique trigger? Any ideas

The Red Sea Similavartus butterfly is very hardy and gorgous. I used to have a pair that I had for years. second choice would be the austrailian hariliquan tusk.

It all depends on what kind of tank you want.Do you want a reef tank, fish only tank, peaceful tank or a aggressive tank?I myself like Angels and Tangs the passer angel, queen angel, Naso Tang Sohal Tang those are just a few that I like. I can name more but it all comes down to what you like for as color

I have had some pretty rough luck with Tusks. Plus they are pretty expensive and hard to come across lately. Any ideas on a trigger that isn't terribly aggresive and is different looking?

For a fish only, this is just my opinion, but you can not beat the color of most adult large angels
I know not "if" but "when" I have a 125 or a 180, I will have one of these bad boys in there (Imperator Angelfish)!!! http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...411&pcatid=411 These are my favorite fish! As juveniles their patterns are awesome, and as adults, their colors are just gorgeous. If fish only is the way you're planning to go, you can not beat the color of large angels, except maybe with certain triggers. Like I said, it's just my opinion.
