Koralia Powerheads

I have recently added 3 #4 Koralia's to my display tank.

My question is are the majority of you using the snap on water diffusers or not? I have been using them, but the come off about every other day. The reason I keep putting them back on is because when they are off the powerheads stir up the sand bed. Should I just take them off and aim the heads again or does anyone have a way to fasten them on permanently?

they should stay on the way they are... i have 2 koralia 3's annnd i keep mine off lower in the tank but pointing up...and at the rocks.

one up and to the left and the other up and to the right so they sorta move the water in a circle

i remember when i first put them in i tried one with and one without the snappy thing and i remember i actually had a hard time getting it to come off.

my suggestion is to make sure they go on in the right position i dont know about the koralia 4 but maybe there is only a certain postion they must be snapped in to stay

I have 2 Koralia 4's and 1 Koralia 2 in my tank and the attachements stay on just fine - they just snapped into place and haven't moved.

I don't use the diffusers for the same reason--as long as all corals are not opposed to you not using them--IMO you don't need them
I suppose you could use a small dab of crazy glue gel and glue them on

I had seen pics you had posted capn without any on them, but I wasn't sure if that was your tank or not. Thanks for the information. They are a pain to fish out, I think I am just going to remove them for now and play with the aim on them.

I have one wedged between two reef rocks that I can't get at--that was actually when I stopped doing them.
I had to be very carefull at first with my frogspawn and hammer coral and unfortunately I lost my hammer coral due to collateral flow damage

I was unaware that I had pulled the power on a K2 on the timer. Next thing I had was a goby that decided to call the k2 home

There is alot of good information regarding Koralias on this thread
