shrinking donut coral...anyone else?

Hey folks. I was wondering if anyone else ever had a donut coral begin shrinking unexpectedly? As far as I know, I've done nothing different with my tank. The only think that I can think of is that the peppermint shrimp (3) have been pestering it a lot recently.

Try putting the bottom of soda bottle w/ holes drilled in it for flow over it so that the shirmp cant bother it. If it gets better than thats why if not than something with your water.

to add to that great idea
put some mysis shrimp in the bottle and let it feed from it without the food being consumed by others

I currently have it in a clear corning ware dish with the lid cocked partially just enough that the shrimp cannot get inside. I put a piece of raw shrimp in the center of the coral, but he did not take it overnight. It's a mystery to me as to why it's shrinking so bad that it's showing the skeleton. Not good.
