What kind of lighting do you have? Good beginner corals are mushrooms, Green star polyps aka GSP, xenia, and some of the less expensive zoanthids.

Any euphyllia (frogspawn aka octopus, etc; hammer aka anchor, torch aka keep it 6" away from neighbors.) Frog and hammer can touch. Torch, no. Not for long.
Candycane is good.
Among sps, montiporas will grow for you.
Fox is good, but a little more fragile.
Start out by dosing something like Kent Turbo Calcium and Kent buffer and Kent Tech M to achieve a dkh of 8.3-9.3, a calcium of about 420 and a magnesium of about 1300. You'll be dosing a half teaspoon of calcium a day.
Then when they take off, you'll be pouring calcium in by the tablespoon and thinking about either dripping kalk from your topoff reservoir or getting a calcium reactor. Kalk is good for a coral tank up to about a hundred gallons, and might suffice you nicely while you save for a reactor.

Salinity 1.024-6; alkalinity 8.3-9.3 on KH scale; calcium 420; magnesium 1300, temp 78-80, nitrate .2. Ammonia 0. No filters: lps tank. Alk and cal won't rise if mg is low.

Current Tank Info: 105g AquaVim wedge, yellow tang, sailfin blenny, royal gramma, ocellaris clown pair, yellow watchman, 100 microceriths, 25 tiny hermits, a 4" conch, 1" nassarius, recovering from 2 year hiatus with daily water change of 10%.
