Heater Recommendations

With a 120g display and 55g sump what are your recommendations for a good heater? I'm assuming that I should use two heaters.

Thanks

Not a bad practice to run 2 heaters in case one craps out. You won't have a major dip in temp. I use Ebo-Jagers. Cheap and reliable. Many people I know have had mishaps with glass bodied models. If the glass breaks, it can be game over. In that case they go with titanium models.

For your tank, you might wanna go with a couple of 300's.

The best advice I can give you is to get a ranco controller (either single stage or dual stage); the part of a heater that is most susceptible to failure is the control mechanism and invariably, when it fails, it fails in the "on" position, thus frying your tank. I do recommend titanium heaters.
