Blue Tang scratching update
My blue tang was kept in qt with copper for 4 weeks and sat i put him in the 90 gallon display. he was itching a lot sat and sunday but not much now and n spots yet....but he has a little white scratch below his fin......does it make sense that he possibly was just irritated by copper?

Copper is very stressfull for tangs. Weird/abnormal behavior is not surprising if you've been treating with copper. Make sure he's still eating, though.

I've always copper my tangs. no stress at all, and works great!!! in qt, I don't expect the copper to do the trick, I try to fatten him up and make him healthy before doing back into the dt. he should be fine, but sometimes they'll go back into the dt, and they'll get ich again, strange...... I heard/was told that ich can lie dormant until there's a host, most will die off through it's stages, but some will just lie dormant. starting to believe that now.
