Output wise, how much difference is there between TEK T5 and plant fixtures?
Like these
http://www.accessdiscounts.us/sku-68006.html also has individual reflectors, advertised as 95% reflective, anyone have experience with these? I can make an acrylic cover for the plant light easly, and $100 is obviously much cheaper than the $280 for a TEK...neither comes with bulbs, so no advantage for one or the other there. |

Plant lights are NOT meant for aquatic enviroments, they do not have a splash guard or anything to protect the bulbs/reflectors for water spray
