Blue Mushroom light req.

My friend set up a 45 gallon saltwater tank. Right now he only has rock, sand, and 2 clowns. He bought the tank from a previous FW owner. The light is just one of those deluxe light hoods. I think it'd only a 26w fluorescent bulb. I gave him a piece of star polyps, but they didn't open yet. I gave him another piece today hoping they grow. The first piece we didn't even acclimate. Figured they were so hardy we'd just drop them in. Either way, is this light strong enough to house blue mushrooms? I was just looking for some corals I could give him. I also have a kenya tree I would get a piece of that for his tank if his lights are capable.

Thanks.

for lps and soft corals a really ball park figure is 3-5 watts per gallon
Thats a little on the low side
