Skimmer Advice for Upgrade
What is the consensus about the ASM G-1X Protein skimmer? Currently, I have a Turboflotor 1000Multi just like this...
![]() The ASM G-1X I found is $50 and is used. Would it be worth the $50 for the upgrade? This is it. ![]()

Never used either but ASM has a much better rep. than the turbos. $50 for an ASM recirc is a sick deal. If it works, get it.

Looks liek someone did a little recirc job on it. Not sure how much of an upgrade this would be.

Well, what do you think of the looks of that one? They said the pump is out but I am running the same pump on my Turboflotor (Ocean Runner 2500) so I could easily just replace it. If its worth the trouble. It looks like it will take up more space.
