Water top off obversation

I noticed that after toping off with RO/DI to level that I keep the water level at . After a few minutes after the added RO/DI has mixed with existing salt water in tank level is higher than where Iinitialy brought level too. i know there a reason for this.Ithought my wife all this time was adding too much water While i was on road but it has happened before

Likely just water seeking it's level and it takes a few minutes for it to level out. Kind of like when you turn on or off a return pump it takes a few minutes for the water to level out.
