do a search for hydroponic retailers, and you'll find what you are looking for.

I did a search and found 600 and 1000 watt ballast, but for bulbs I was only able to find a 20,000k 10000watt Radium and 6500k. Where can I find info on a 600watt 20,000k bulb.

My club recently went on a behind the scenes tour to the Mote Aquarium in Sarasota. The have 1000 watt MH on the shark pool and they said they constantly have problems with the ballasts burning out. They get too hot and don't seem to like the warm, humid environment. The shark pool is under roof, but it is an open air building. May want to contact them and find out what they are running.

Sure. The only reason I had even heard about these was because I called in to order two Lumenarcs for my 400W bulbs and the guy who makes the 600w picked up the phone and we talked. He is pretty big on them but I would like to see more about these bulbs before making the dive.
www.lumenarclighting.com There is almost no information on the bulbs online. I think they are pretty new for marketing. Try calling to find out more. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who uses these bulbs. |
