Cleaning Tank
Hey folks,
Setting up a new system in my new house. I had a 90 gal tank that I used as a display in my old house. It's going to become the sump at the new place. I installed all the baffles this week, and am now getting ready to clean it before installing. I was planning to use hot water and vinegar. Any other suggestions on what can safely be used to clean this tank? I want to get it really clean, but don't want to use anything that could compromise the system. Thanks! Dave |

yep, you're on the right track. If you're going to fill it, usually I'll do a 1 part vinegar to 5 parts water or so, and then run a pump to circulate the mix around a bit in the sump (maybe a hose to push water from one section to the others, and then back.
