Aqualogic Single Stage Controller
I am looking for someone with a common experience with the error message "E2" appearing with their Aqualogic/Ranco single stage controllers. I use one as a high heat/temp safety to shut down my lights should the chiller fail. When I got up this morning, my lights were not on as usual, so I took a look and found that the controller had locked out the lights. I unplugged the controller, let it reset, and plugged it back in. The lights would come on for a few minutes, and then the controller would shut them off again.
The manual says that E2 means that settings are not correct in memory and that I should correct that. Thing is, the settings are correct when I scroll through the menus. Have any of you experienced this and if so, what was the outcome? Did you have to scrap the controller? Thanks for the help, Mike |

Well, I just got off the phone with Aqualogic and they indicated that the controller is shot. The memory chip has failed and the unit is unrepairable.
So, I'll scrap it and install another one. Mike |
