Coral in a 55G tank with only 64W?
Lately, I have had a lot of problems with hair algae in my 14g biocube. Some of my corals were getting choked out by the stuff. So I have been temporarily putting certain pieces of coral and LR rock In my 55g tank to have my foxface give the things a proper cleaning.
About a month ago I placed my sad looking candy cane which has bounced back wonderfully. Just recently I placed some mushroom and zoanthid rocks plus some yellow polyps and brown button polyps. They have all been cleaned of any vegetation and look well. Now I am thinking of leaving this stuff in there but I did not Know if my lighting would suffice. I have two 32 W bulbs I am not sure if they are basic fluorescents or t8s or T12s the bulbs are "All Glass Aquarium" and just say 32 w aquarium lamp (bought used) Do you think this might work , has anyone had any luck with corals in a 55g with only 64w of light?

long term, you'd want to just watch their response. If they start losing color or otherwise show signs of stress, consider moving them back or upgrading the lighting.
