Bubble King Mini 200 Micro bubbles

Hello, Anybody have problems with there Mini 200 producing micro bubbles in the display tank? Bubbles are coming out of the bottom. It looks like that the pump is pushing so many bubbles that they are getting pused down below the bubble plate. I've seen this skimmer working on other systems and the bubbles stay above the bubble plate. I have it sitting in 9 inches of water. Says they should sit in 8-10. Its only been on my system for about a week but I was told these skimmers are broke-in, in 2 days. By the way my system is a 240 gallon with 33 gallon sump. Mag drive 1800 return pump, mag 700 for 25 watt uv and of course the Bubble King mini200. Its a fish only tank with artif. corals 2 inch live sand bed. Fish are 8 in. Miniatus 8 in. Blue Spot grouper 6 in. Polleni Grouper 8 in. Harlequin Tusk 6 in Gold heart Trigger and 24 in Cortez Dragon Eel. Any body that has one of these skimmers with advice would be helpful. Thanks Alan
