bypassing 1 beckett results?

i have a mrc mr2 skimmer but i think i am overskimmer my tank. i have 2 becketts installed and for the skimmer to work i have to put less air into the skimmer. i have a 90 gallon sump and a 150 gallon tank with 4 small fish. should iblock off 1 beckett?
