Question Tank suppliers

Where does everyone go when shopping for new tanks beside the LFS, and what are the name's of retailers? What are some of the better ones? I live 70 miles form a metro so I don't have much to choose from. Does everyone buy local, or is there some builder that ships? I'm currently planning, or dreaming, of a 180-220 to be an in-wall when I finish my basement. I would like to get some ideas of what's out there and the price ranges. I'd really like an external overflow if possible.
TIA

cant help you much being where you live....but you say you would like an external overflow if possible.

It is surely possible , and you should make it happen. Do an true eurobraced external ttothless coast to coast and you will never set up a tank any other way

do you want glass or acrylic?? If acrylic you cant do any better than James at Envision Acrylics(he is Acrylics on the forums).

If you are going to be spending the kind of money it takes to get a sweet custom tank......a few hundred more for shipping might not be such a big deal, but there has to be someone closer to you I would think

You know I haven't decided on acrylic or glass, haven't weighed the pros and cons. I've heard that acrylic can scratch easier but it's lighter. And yes I was thinking of a coast to coast. Would anyone have some pic's or sites to check out. This is one area I can't find a lot of varity on the web.

I second James at Envision Acrylics.
http://www.envisionacrylics.com/

His reputation is impeccable. His work is flawless and he volunteers his time here to help others in building or repairing their own tanks.
