Lighting help
So i was looking at getting this lighting fixture because its one of the few 4 bulb 48" T5 fixtures that I have been able to find it seems and it was a good price even to have it shiped to canada.
http://www.aquatraders.com/48-216w-h...ure-basic.aspx But the more reading I do on how people have there lights set-up for timers the less sure I become about this fixture. The problem that I am seeing is it seems to be recomended to have the acintics turn on about two hours before the other bulbs. Is this important? If so this system won't work since it is run by one cord for all four bulbs. If this fixture isn't going to cut it can anyone point me towards any other 4 bulb T5s? It is for a 55 gal that will only ever have a couple lps and mostly softies in it I am not interested in sps corals at all.

IMO it doesnt matter all that much if you have the atinics come on first. Some people like the sunnrise and sunset effect that it has. I do not think it has any advantages to the health of the coral or system though, when using all t5's.
