Additives to Enchance Fish Color?

Is there a way to enhance your fish's color? I read about feeding Beta Carotene, is this advisable? Are there any supplements I can feed them? I have a six line wrasse i want to both fatten and brighten up. Any advice?

Quality water, quality food. Can soak food in a good multi vitamin.

If your fish are healthy, the best thing to make them "pop" is to make sure your lights are good.

For the most part, these additives have little effect on fish and serve more to pollute the water than anything else. As stated above, good husbandry (water changes, not overstocking), good feeding with quality foods (like New Life Spectrum pellets), and the occasional vitamin supplement (like Selcon) is all that's really needed.
