Help with Carpet Anemone

I just got a carpet anemone two days ago and I dont think he is doing too well

He keeps turning upside down on the substrate, and is spewing slime out of its mouth. I checked and all my levels seemed to be fine. Is my light too strong if it is turning its self upside down all the time?

sounds like it may be to late for him It is very hard to save an anemony.

good luck.

I don't think it would be to much like they like alot of light. how was his mouth when you bought him? was it large? also check the foot for any cuts or rips. it they ripped him when removing him from the rock that is not a good start

by the way the mouth is also the a*s so it could just be removing the waist and maybe hasn't gotten a good footing on the rock yet. is the mouth really large?

What type of carpet is it?

How long has your tank been set up?

What are the actually numbers for your water parameters?
