I keep both but if I ever find a good home for my FW fish I will have another 80gallon reef tank.

i actually think salt water is easier, sounds ridiculous but heres why

when i kept freshwater over more than 25 years i took it for granted and it was easy to maintain, i did the usual progression within that part of the hobby from basic tropical to specialist breeding of hard to keep speices etc, then i just kept a few oscars towards the end and basically neglected the whole thing due to being bored with it etc, because of my lack of enthusism things went down hill then and became a chore, but with my reef i feel generally keen and very interested again, im constantly putting my hands in the tank and because of my enthusiastic husbandry with the reef its looking good and easy to maintain, id never go back, ever, im already dreaming of a 8ft reef between 2 chimney breasts in my house, i just got to work on the wife and convince her it wont cost much

Ditto.

I love the ease of doing a FW water change. Suck water out, dump water in. 5 minutes, no fuss, no muss.

I have angles and a silver dollar in a 70 gallon GC tank. The silver dollar was a pair. I lost one the other day. I bought them in 1998.
