I have a ro/di unit i purchased from filter guys that i am very satisfied with. I had questions before i ever purchased the unit. I called them and they were so helpful. I decided to purchase one of their units and i had it within 2 days. I as well had questions setting it up. Once again i called and they talked me through it. He was so nice and made it very easy to set up and understand. Unit works great. I would highly recommend them. Call them and see for yourself. Here is their website www.thefilterguys.biz/. Hope this helps! We got suckered in to a sump from ebay and it was a complete waste of several hundred dollars. I personally won't buy fish stuff from there again.

Those ebay units have the di units horizontal, i've heard that is bad, and causes them to be less effective and exhaust quicker.

I've had issues with a TyphoonIII from airwater ice but the customer service was outstanding. They repaired it for free no questions asked. Even with the inital problems I would still recomend one of their filters.

cobra 2326 you are wrong on both of your statements. Getting 0 TDS is not the whole picture. If I get 1000 gallons of 0 TDS water from one 20 oz DI cartridge and you get 100 gallons of 0 TDS out of one cartridge who got the better deal? I pay $10 for one refill you pay for 7 or 8 refills, there is a difference. Also with the smaller micron filters you do not change them more often. The 0.2 micron and some 0.35 micron filters are pleated so they have 10x the surface area so even though they filter better they last longer too.
