ok well ive noticed this film or something that is on my cabbage coral and im hoping you guys can help me out. i couldnt really get a good pic so i got a small clip.

Looks like it is just shedding. Most leathers will do this. It usually takes my toadstool a couple of days to look normal when it starts doing this. You can blow it off with a powerhead if you want to speed up the process.

would that also explain why it been looking a little "down" for the past few days? also its trying to split if that helps.

Nice coral, mine seems to do that followed by a growth spirt, _E_ 's probably right.

I just take a turkey baster and blow it off, takes 2 seconds.
