enough light for anenome?

I have a 90 gallon and have the coralife aqualight pro fixture. The fixture has 2 hqi 150 watt metal halides and two 96 watt actinics for a total of 492 watts. Just setting it up now, but do you think this would be enough light for a BTA in the future?

I'd say it's enough. I don't have any first hand experience, but I've always heard 4-5wpg was enough for a BTA.

and 492/90==5.466wpg

Then again I've also heard the WPG argument is flawed and shouldn't really be used. I'm sure someone will pick up my slack here

Edit: You may get a better and more informed response in the 'Clownfish and Anemone' forum down toward the bottom in the forum index.

How deep is your 90 gallon? If it's the standard depth, it will probably be okay. Just make sure it has enough rock so the anemone can relocate him/herself to the right spot. Make sure your tank is old enough (read.. stable enough) for the anemone to thrive.

It will be fine--my rose tip sits on the bottom 35 inches from the MH's--same fixture as yours:

Surprising your RBTA has remained on the bottom of your tank. They're naturally rock dwelling anemones and also very likely to move around the tank to find their "happy spot."
