rodi autoff solenoid hissing
Hello,
I just installed this solenoid for an auto shut off for my RO/DI unit. Now when water reaches the float the solenoid hissing and doesn't completely shut off the water flow ( it slows it down but does shut it off completely), any suggestions why this could happen. heres a picture ![]()

I manually moved the float switch as hish as it could go and I did try it when it was pointing it up and it still seemed to leak.

The diaphragm in the solenoid valve is not sealing. They are simple to take apart and clean. It may have a small piece of teflon tape or plastic in it. Probably a simple fix.

Thanks everyone,
I just reversed the inlet/outlet in the solenoid and that fixed it. Thanks again,
