Red slime

I was wondering if the "3 days lights out" will get rid of the red slime. I was planning to do a wc this weekend. Just curious!!

it's perfectly fine, may consider reduce foods, old light bulbs, mix high temp. may cause it too

Three days of lights off will probably fix the symptom but the red cyano will come right back if the cause is not eliminated.
