How do you modd a skimmer?

I have a coralife super skimmer 65, I dont think its good, need better, its a needle wheel, I hear people modding all needle skimmers how do I modd and any pics please thanks a lot real help.

DIY = Do It Yourself, it is the section of the forums where paople make thier own stuff/mod existing equipment to suit thier needs instead of buying new stuff.

You could do the Mesh Mod on your needle wheel. I personally love it. Just google Mesh Mod.

go to "reef builders new england" they have step by step photos.
then purchase a mesh kit from " Meshmod.net" and that's it.
