Interesting overflow acrylic tanks in LFS
I am looking to get back into the hobby so I went into a LFS here in Tucson. They had 3 acrylic tanks that had a round bevel around the top edge of the entire tank and water was overflowing over the entire perimeter of the tank and flowing into a drain outside of the tank. You looked thru the acrylic sides and flowing water to look into the tank. It was amazing how smooth the water flowed down the acrylic. All of the equpment was in the middle of the tank.
It's hard to describe and I didn't have a camera. It was a cool look but way to tempting to put your finger in the water going down the sides. Plus. the drain outside of the tank was pretty loud. If you can figure out what I am describing, has anyone else seen something like it? |
