expanding to 125 gallon reef
I am new to the forum and am expanding from a 75 gallon reef to a 125 gallon reef and would like some suggestions of what king of pumps, skimmers, uv, chillers ect. to use in my new reef.
If anyone has suggestions please post your thoughts. I also want to have a refuguim in my sump and is wondering how many gallons the sump should be. dino 43 |

My experience is that a 120(4'x2'x2') is easier and cheaper to light and also is easier to aquascape. I use an ASM G3 skimmer on my 125 and it works pretty good. I use a Mag 18 for my return. I have a Tunze stream(1875 GPH) on a single controller and a Vortech MP40(which is currently broken, from experience I see that Tunze is a better product, this is the second time for the Vortech). I am currently using a maxi mod in it's place. I use a cheap fan to cool the tank in the summer, it blows over the top of the tank.
