What do you feed them, Phytoplankton/cyclopeeze?

You don't need to feed them anything. Although we're pretty sure they get nutrients from sources other than their zooxanthellae, as far as I know, no one is certain just what that is. Just give them light and watch them grow (and grow and grow and grow).

wow, i didnt know anything ate Xenia
to answer, no you do not need to feed them anything, and they either usually grow like a weed, or wither and die different things in different tanks |

Xenia don't have fully formed guts. Unlike most other corals, they're incapable of eating anything. Most other corals feed primarily on zooplankton and bacteria. Very few feed on phytoplankton.

i have used a pipette with coral frenzy and placed it all over my xenia, i dont know if they eat or not but i can tell you they stop pumping and act like they are taking it in??
