you may want to run a search on here for the vendor you're looking at. A lot of threads like the one below. I can't give you any guidance on recommending lights, but I recently went looking for lighting, and the feedback for these guys was not good. I've never purchased from them, so I have no first hand experience to share, just passing on what i found.

Some reports of them catching on fire. Used lights are a good option. I'm thinking of getting some T5s for a frag tank from fishneedit.com. The reviews I read are pretty favorable, especially the newer ones.

Any more info on fishneedit.com ? Nice looking lights, but no fans installed. Do they run really hot? Too bad they don't make a 6 bulb.
How would they compair to "TEK LIGHT T-5, 36" Light Fixture 6 x 39W lamps" ? http://www.aquacave.com/tek-light-t-...upply-690.html |
