Light acclimation
Today will be the first day running the Outer Orbit Pro 2x150.....i was running the Nova Extreme Pro. here is my question: do I need to acclimate the coral to the new lights. I was running the the NEP for 8 1/2hrs, should I cut the time down to 4-6 hrs?

I normally increase the distance between the fixture and the water surface for a couple weeks

Or you can run your lights on/off in intervals building up to your desired photoperiod. When I do this I leave the supplemental lights on and just turn the halides on and off. Start with something like 30 on 45 off and work your way up.
