Ballast Help Icecap or Coralvue?
Hi,
I am going to upgrade my 150 hqi to a 250W and would like to know which is a better electronic ballast. Is there any other brand I should look at? Thanks Ed |

unless you are going to run reeflux bulbs exclusively i would get Ice cap. I just had this dilema 1 month ago. It came down to the Galaxy and Lumatek. I decided on the Lumatek. Even though i think they will be equal. Sunlight supplies distributes both and both of these ballast have the best warranty

Thanks for the info...
Now I have to hack up my Aqualight pro for new sockets,rip out the start cap,new lamps and new ballasts! BTW is there any place to buy hqi sockets cheaper than $25.00. Thanks Again Ed |
