Not reef safe

When I hear that some fish are not reef safe and they will nip on the corals does that mean nipping on mostly sps cause I am starting a small nano with mostly softies, zoos and torch kind of corals.
Do I need to stay with all reef safe fish?

He's got a 12g in his sig. I'd stick to either a goby or a small (oscellaris) clownfish. both will be fine for your tank.

You could keep more depending on size of fish.
