want to start adding corals on my tank
hello,
my tank has been up for more than 3 years and i have had lots of fish in it and have always traded and had fish change. i know want to start adding corals. here are my tank details so i can get the best advise on getting the right corals. tank: 50 gal. filter: back hang tetra tec power heads: 2 lighting: coral life.2, 50/50 bulbes in tank now: 2 coral bandid shrimp, 2 hermit crabs, 4 blue yello tail demsils, one large blemmy can some one help? |

with the lighting you have you should be able to keep any type of soft coral ( mushrooms,leathers ect) probably some easier to take of LPS ( Brain corals, candy canes, frogspawn, hammer ect.)
What wattage are the lights and how old? Power compacts need to be changed every 6-8mths or the spectrum will shift, promoting algea growth

I had damsels pick at my clove polyps until the rock was almost bare. I'm not sure if they would pick at anything else

thanks. the watts are 65 each. i just changed them about 1 month ago
