I have seen 3 get along fine, but it's rare. What mast likely will happen is that 2 of them will pair up and eventually kill the one that got left out. You best bet is to get 2 babies. Make sure one is a little bigger than the other and that will end up being the female. Thats IMO though and what i have seen work the best.

Fire your LFS and find someone who knows something about SW tanks. Suggest you visit the clownfish forum and look at their FAQ. Unless you have a very large tank you never want to have more than two clowns and stay away from clowns of different species. This is basic 101 clownfish and if your LFS doesn't know this they don't know enough to warrant your money. |
