For me, I've flooded the RO/DI in the laundry room twice. In the new house, I did it in the living room on the hardwood floors. NICE! At least I finally got around to putting the float valve in my makeup container. KNOCK on wood, but I've never had any of my 3 tanks flood in the 10 years I've been reefing.

The only flood I've had was from not shutting off water to the RO before the container over filled. As long as you're careful and plan ahead before setting up the tank there isn't much that could go wrong
