First Tank - Pics at 6 months old and 18 months
Hello all. I just pulled up a picture of my tank from when it was 6 months old, and compared it to a picture I took last night of my tank, now 18 months old. This is my first tank and I have to thank this forum for my success, since I would have failed miserably had it not been for all of the knowledge I gained in here! What a difference a year makes!!!! Notice the almost complete lack of coralline at 6 months, lack of color in general, and beginnings of Lobophora, which spread to about 20% of my rock. Now at 18 months, I'm lobophora free, actually, algae free except for the Coralline.
Also, notice the difference in the size of my Frogspawn (bottom left hand corner at 6 months and top left at 18 months) and my Aussie Duncan (bottom right hand corner in picture at 6 months, and bottom left hand corner at 18 months - and this is after fragging the duncan 3 times). I'm also happy with the luck...(or is it success?)....I had bringing a very bleached Sabae Anemone, back to health. Bought the bleached Anemone last January (see 3rd picture of Sabae when I bought it, and noticed the same Anemone in the picture I took last night). Took months of patience trying to get it to take any food. Looked very touch and go for a while. Thank you all ! Looks great; I really like the layout, it's not overdone, but there's a lot going on at the same time. Well done!

Thank you both. I'm kind of feeling like I don't want to add many more corals. I like the "less is more" look.
