do you seperate the dsb and refigium
I have a 125 gallon tank for a sump. I was going to make the refigium about 48" long. In the refigium I was going to have a DSB a(6-10") along with mangroves and various macro-alages. in one section i was going to have a macro-algae tumbler from return water of my skimmer.
is there a benefit in seperating the two (DSB and refigium) or is my idea for my sump good enough |

Tagging along here. I was considering something similar but having my macro first and then making a frag area with the sand bed under the frags. Wondering if this is a good idea.
