Acrylic Tank and SLIGHTLY uneven top
OK Ive basically finished the stand for a new 120 acrylic tank. It will hold a HOUSE up.. I'm not at ALLLL concerned about the strength of the tank and its ability to hold the weight. the only thing is... the TOP of the tank has about 1/8" bow DOWN like a "U" on the FAR right side of the top. By the time you move toward the middle 5 or 6 inches the bow is gone and the top is perfectly flat again.
In other words, the middle of the top, on that side, is a little lower than the corners, kind of like the top has bowed in the show or something.. AGAIN, it is very little bow, and it is only for a few inches on the FAR right side.. question is this.. is this reason for concern with an acrylic tank? It's level... just has a lil bow for some reason on that side. Can I solve this issue by sitting the tank on some of the foam I put my glass tanks on? (not really foam.. you know the stuff.. like dense styrofoam or something). What would you recommend? Thanks,.. B

would that sort of thing even out any minor "uneveness" and provide enough support for the tank?

You may want to post a link here to the other thread you started....
