Lighting Question for 65 gal tank...

Excuse this question in advance, as I really could appreciate any assitance...

I just upgraded my tank from a 29g to a 65g. The length of the tank is the same (36"), so I'm using my Corallife Aqualight Dual Actinic hood and lights. I know this isn't enough wattage for a 65gal, so I'm thinking of upgrading to a t5 system.

My question is - can I keep the Corallife hood and use retrofit kit to install a t5 system? Or do I need to purchase a whole new unit?

Has anyone done this, and if so, where would you recommend I purchase? Thanks!

I have simple soft corals, and basic reef fish (a few clowns, a tang, cardinal angel).
