inspired by these 2 threads......
http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...hreadid=817485 http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...hreadid=888670 .....i am planning on one for my new build. i had a piece of 1/4" acrylic cut the size of the glass top that came w/ my tank. i'm gonna cut some pieces of wood 1" thick like a picture frame to fit this piece & then use an edging bit for my router to cut the center out leaving the 1" border all around. then, i'm gonna drill small holes 1/4" spaced all the way around all sides. i bought some UV resistant fishing line at Bass Pro Shops & i'm gonna "lace" it to make a screen in an over/under pattern.....like a tennis racket. should provide plenty of protection from jumpers, block very little light & be pretty easy to "re-lace" if needed.
